South Limburg is a beautiful region where you will find, many bustling towns and stunning green hills. The well-kept family campsite Panorama Camping Gulperberg is situated on a beautiful green hill which will mean you have an excellent view of the surroundings! Go for a nice walk, your children can enjoy themselves in the swimming pool, discover the countless trips and let yourself be pampered in Burgundian style.
Panorama Camping Gulperberg is aimed at families and those seeking tranquility. It is advised to take your hiking boots with you, because the nature is so beautiful here, you will want to explore. You will occasionally come across a castle on your adventures also. As a family, this is also a great place for you, the campsite has a great range of facilities! Various playgrounds, fun animation activities and an open-air swimming pool with children's pool, sun terrace and lawn. As a guest of the campsite you have free access to the subtropical swimming paradise Mosaqua (500 meters from the campsite) with a 92-meter slide with light and laser effects, a winding whitewater course, a pirate ship and a toddler jungle pool. You can get the ingredients for dinner in the camping shop in no time and if you don't feel like cooking, just book a table in the restaurant. Treat yourself, after all it is a holiday!
There is so much to experience in the south of this beautiful country! Let's start with some tips for successful children's outings. Sledding has to be on your to-do list. The cable car in Valkenburg will take you up to a height of 90 meters, after which you will enjoy the descent. Even more adrenaline? Go indoor climbing, mountain biking or discover an exciting cave full of history. You can of course surprise the little ones with a day at Sprookjesbos or the amusement park Valkenier. Have you ever been to the Drielandenpunt in Vaals? Here you can jump from the Netherlands, to Germany and hop to Belgium. A day trip to Maastricht is also recommended with the small streets, peaceful squares and the famous cobblestones everywhere. In the heart of the city you will find the Vrijthof, the square surrounded by numerous historic buildings such as the St. Servaas church, the Spanish Government and the General House. Relax on the terrace and order coffee with a delicious pie. Because you are in Limburg after all!
